PasPapan is an all-in-one Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and operations platform built to streamline workforce management. Built with Laravel Livewire and Capacitor for native mobile support, PasPapan delivers attendance tracking with biometric Face ID, GPS geofencing, automated payroll, and employee self-service.
Problem
Many growing enterprises still rely on manual spreadsheets, paper forms, and messaging apps to manage attendance, leave requests, and payroll. This decentralized approach often leads to calculation errors, delayed approvals, untracked advances, and vulnerability to attendance fraud via fake GPS.
Goal / Use Case
To engineer a self-hosted, centralized HRIS and operations management system that automates employee lifecycle workflows—from mobile biometric clock-ins and geofenced attendance to one-click monthly payroll and PDF payslip distribution—giving companies full ownership of their HR data.
Impact
Drastically reduced payroll processing time from several days to a single automated workflow, prevented attendance fraud with face recognition and geofencing, and improved overall employee transparency through mobile self-service requests.
Development Duration
The project was developed over approximately four months, including core Laravel architecture, Livewire reactive interfaces, Capacitor mobile application packaging, and field testing.
